博物馆简介
华南博物馆由江西省华南投资集团有限公司创办，并经江西省文化厅批准报国家文物局备案设立。该馆坐落于历史文化名城—江西省南昌市青云谱区八大山人梅湖景区內，总建筑面积3000余平方米，是一家集收藏保护、陈列展示、学术研究、审美教育、文化交流与服务公众于一体的综合性非盈利民办博物馆。
华南博物馆以其丰富的艺术藏品成为展示中国历史文化和古代文明的一个民间重要文化展示场所，是目前江西地区规模较大、功能较强、藏品较丰富的综合性民办博物馆之一。馆内集中展示了六大类别500余件馆藏艺术品，重点涉及我国古代遗存、近现代经典佳作。全馆设有古代陶瓷艺术、近现代瓷器艺术、金铜造像艺术、古典家具艺术、文房珍玩艺术、古代石雕艺术等基本陈列，涵盖了青铜器、陶瓷、书画、玉石、竹木牙角、金银器、家具、赏石等众多门类。其中既有古代宫廷的御制秘器，也有历代名家的精品杰作；有研究价值极高的古代遗存，也有工艺精湛的传世珍品。
华南博物馆所展示的这些艺术藏品，是经过该馆多年的收集、梳理、研究，并付出了大量的精力、物力和财力，才得以呈现世人面前。作为一家民办博物馆，虽然所包含的物品难以穷尽，但它所涉及的事象却是丰富多彩的，它所展示和诉说的一切都是值得珍爱和崇敬的。华南博物馆将不断利用陈列展览的形式，充分展示中华民族悠久的历史文化，以真、精为标，以新、奇为杆，使之成为一个普及文化知识、传播文博信息、进行研究保护的重要窗口，和探寻人文关怀、触摸中华文化底蕴的艺术场所。成为观照历史与今天的纽带，成为城市多元文化的一个重要组成部分。

South China Museum was founded by Jiangxi South China Investment Group CO., LTD. and got approval from Jiangxi Cultural Department to be set up and filed by National Cultural Affairs Bureau. The museum is located in the historical and cultural city, Nanchang, Jiangxi province. Situated within Eight Mountain Ren Mei lake scenic spot with a total construction area of 3000+ square meters, it is a non-profit private-funded museum, a composite body combining collection protection, display, academic research, aesthetic education, cultural exchange and public services. With its rich art collections, South China Museum has become China's important folk culture exhibition space to showcase Chinese history culture and ancient civilization. It is one of composite private-funded museums featured with larger scale, stronger functions and more abundant collections in Jiangxi Province. The museum focuses on displaying six major categories of 500+ pieces of art collections, mainly involving China's ancient heritage as well as contemporary and modern classics. It sets up such basic exhibitions as ancient ceramic art, contemporary and modern porcelain, gold and copper sculpture art, classical furniture art, four rarities and the ancient stone carving art, covering versatile categories of bronze ware, ceramics, paintings and calligraphy, jade, bamboo tooth angle, gold and silver pieces, furniture and stone treasures. It consists of ancient palace secretly-made items and delicate masterpieces of past dynasties together with ancient remains of high research value and exquisite workmanship treasures passed from ancient generations.
The art collection pieces displayed in South China Museum, through the museum’s collecting, sorting and research over many years as well as its input with huge energy, materials and financial resources, are then unveiled in front of the world. As one private museum, although the items displayed here are limited, it is associated with diversified and colorful things, which shows and tells everything worthy of treasure and respects.
